Hello! I’m Tom Ashton.

I write crime novels and short stories set in Cumbria, North West England, predominantly, but have been known to dabble in other areas too! As a massive X-Files nerd, I do have a tendency go off grid and start writing books about aliens, when maybe I should be concentrating on things that are more commercial!

My latest crime novel, set predominantly in the fictional village of Grenton and parts of Carlisle, is scheduled to be sent out on submission at the end of November 2021.
